SUNDAY MORNING YOUTH: During the 10:30 service Jr. High and High School students (7-12th grades) are invited to attend our great class in the youth room. They meet three Sundays each month; on the first Sunday of the month youth are encouraged to attend the main service. Each week they have a great time with high-energy worship, fun games, and Biblical teaching. And there's free donuts! Bring a friend and get to KNOW God, GROW in faith, and SHOW Christ's love.
JR.
HIGH MIDWEEK - IAGT (IT'S A GOD THING): IAGT Youth meets on Wednesday
nights from 7:00 to 8:30 at Eastwind. Jr. High School students (7th -9th
grade) and their friends are invited to come for a great time of games,
worship, getting to know other students, and relevant teaching about Jesus'
role in our everyday lives. And there's always FREE PIZZA! Each month we
break from the routine with activities like bowling, concerts, water skiing,
and ultimate frisbee. Bring your friends! We hope to see you there!!
HIGH
SCHOOL MIDWEEK - LG (Life Groups): Life groups meet in homes throughout
the month at various times. Our goal is to meet students where they are
at and share our lives together, growing in relationships with each other
and God. We study the Bible together, pray together, and encourage each
other in daily struggles. Talk to Jesse for a list of meetings.
SNL
(Sunday Night Live) happens once a month to connect, equip, and
inspire high school students as Life Groups meet together. Bring your friends
to this night for a great time of fun, food, hanging out, and sharing about
what God has been doing in the lives of teenagers.
OTHER EVENTS: In addition to our weekly meetings we have several events, camps, retreats, and service projects throughout the year. See our list of upcoming activities below.

Jan. 8-10 Jr. High Winter Camp@ Camp Pinewood
Jan. 15-18 Sr. High Winter Camp...Fastbreak Winter Conference @
Quaker Hill in McCall
Thanks to the over 40 students who joined us for Winter
camps this year as we met up with over 300 students for one of the most
incredible events of 2010! It was a great time with friends skiing, snowboarding,
tubing (in huge chains), playing indoor games (and getting shocked), snow
fun, and more! With great worship, an incredible speaker, and life-changing
discussions, we had a great couple of weeks. Most importantly, we connected
with God and made commitments to live for Him, many for the first time!
God is good!
See you there again next year!!
30
Hour Famine - May 16 & 17 2009 We did it!! There were
28 kids and 6 leaders that went 30 hours without food on May 16 and 17.
We raised enough money to feed 7 kids for an entrire year through World
Vision!! We also worked at the River of Life Rescue mission, slept in cardboard
boxes, helped an elderly woman with some major yard work, and all had a
great time! Most of all we grew in compassion by learning about hunger,
poverty, and God's main plan for taking care of the less fortunate - US!
"I can't think of a better way that I could have
spent my weekend!" - TJ
"It was awesome!!" - Natalie
"I'm glad I did it. I can't imagine what people
go through, we have so much!" - Kirsten
Creation
Festival July 2009
We led a group of 30 people (15 from Eastwind) to the Gorge to join 20,000+
others for 4 days of concerts with 60 bands, seminars, camping, and tons
of memories. Eastwind kids sang on the jumbo-tron with the lead singer from
Hawk Nelson, rocked out with Skillet for two encores, swam in the Columbia
River, ate liquid nitrogen ice cream, worshiped under candlelight with Chris
Tomlin, and even won a signed guitar. But the best part was the commitments
made for Christ - several for the first time. Thanks be to our Creator!!
