What I Like About Eastwind
"When I first
came to Eastwind, it was like taking a breath of fresh air. Here, finally,
was a place where I could follow Jesus and encourage others to do the same
without manipulation, guilt trips, expectations, or pushing. For me, Eastwind
has been a safe place where I can explore my spiritual roots, address questions
I have always been afraid to voice, and grow beyond the spiritual boxes
I was trapped in. I have felt accepted for who I am whether I have been
in a place in my personal life where I could give a lot of myself, or in
a place where I could contribute nothing. I know Eastwind is not perfect
(if it were I wouldn't fit in) but it has allowed me the freedom to be myself,
grow in my relationship with God, and find an expression of service."
