We Don't GO To Church... We ARE The Church!

Let’s BE The Church By Serving In The Community

On one Sunday each May, we do not have regular services here at Eastwind. Instead, we go out into the community to participate in many different projects, from growing a garden for new immigrants, to cleaning up the river, to fishing with the mentally disabled.
All of our projects are meaningful and exciting, and they are intended to help you experience what it means to BE the church, instead of just attending. All of the projects are family friendly, so the kids will be involved that day as well. (Nursery care will still be provided at church for the kids too small to part icipate.) WE WANT ABSOLUTELY EVERYONE TO BE INVOLVED!! Plan on being a part of this vibrant ministry, designed to help us BE THE CHURCH! Here's a video from our 1st Annual ?Church Without Walls Sunday. This year’s Church Without Walls event is Sunday, May 23, 2010 and we will all meet for a short service at the church at 9:30 am.

Get Involved Within Eastwind

Let Eastwind help put your faith in practice! We invite each person to serve in a ministry. Eastwind offers a class (201 in the Eastwind series) and a pastoral staff to help guide you through a process to plug you into the place of service that fits you best. Attending the 201 class or meeting with a member of the pastoral staff provides the best opportunity for you to find the right ministry fit.
