Let Eastwind help put your faith in practice! We invite each person to serve in a ministry. Eastwind offers a class (201 in the Eastwind series) and a pastoral staff to help guide you through a process to plug you into the place of service that fits you best. Attending the 201 class or meeting with a member of the pastoral staff provides the best opportunity for you to find the right ministry fit.
Start by completing the Discover Your Ministry personal strengths survey. This is a survey that will help us match you to a ministry position. You can complete it online by clicking here or download a blank survey and then either attend the next 201 class or call the church office at 387-0818 to arrange an appointment with someone who can help you process your survey and guide you in selecting a place of service that used your unique gifts.
New Ministry Opportunity – Serve in our lobby information booth! If you like meeting new people and assisting in directing and answering visitor questions about our church, we have a ministry that might be just for you. The Eastwind Community Communications Team is looking for people interested in serving at the Information Booth in the lobby on a rotation basis. help supply meals for mom’s and their families after the birth of
a new addition to the family.
Communion
Ministry On the first Sunday of each month we celebrate Communion
(The Lord’s Supper) here at Eastwind. Each time we have Communion
there are volunteers who come in and prepare the bread and the juice and
help serve them during each of the two worship services. Some of you were
created by God with a love for worship and to be of practical help to others.
You feel as if you are soaring when you get a chance to serve in some specific
way. We are looking for 5 people with your wiring to help with this very
important ministry. If you would like to help with this Communion Ministry
just write “Communion Ministry” on the back of the “Welcome”
card or contact Dick Green at 387-0818 or rgreenrichard@gmail.com.
