Christmas Tea Luncheon

First
Impressions meetings – Sunday December 6th or 13th at 9
am in Room 7/8
The purpose of the First Impressions ministry it to create WOW experiences
for those attending our Sunday services. Each Sunday there are greeters,
hospitality hosts and ushers who help people feel welcome and answer any
questions they might have. The First Impressions Team will meet at 9 am
on December 6 & 13 in room 7/8 for training and to check in. If you
are interest in becoming apart of the First Impressions team please attend
the meeting on December 6. If you are already on the team, December 13
is the date for a check in meeting. For more information contact Dick

Help
Decorate our place of worship for the Christmas Season –
Sunday, December 6
On Sunday, December 6 after the 2nd service willing hands are needed to
help with Christmas decorations for our church lobby and the sanctuary.

Fiesta in Wilder – December 13 Save the date! Sunday,
December 13 from 2:00-5:00 pm, we are going to
have THE BEST CHRISTMAS PARTY EVER. We will be celebrating with our
amigos in Wilder. There will be crafts for kids, dancing, live entertainment,
great Mexican food, American desserts, and best of all you'll get to hear
Mark Traylor speaking Spanish! Bring yourself, your kids and your friends!
It's going to be a great

Living Nativity This Year
We will not be having our Living Nativity this year in the church parking
lot. Instead we have chosen to give it a rest for at least this year and
focus on the Advent Conspiracy which will culminate with a huge celebration
at our Christmas Eve services.

Tickets will be available in the lobby beginning Next Sunday.
Adopt
a Family for Christmas
For the past several years Eastwind has worked to adopt a needy families
in the Caldwell labor camp for Christmas. Adopting a family means purchasing
gifts for each child in the family and delivering those gifts in time
for Christmas. On the Christmas tree in the church lobby you will find
tags with the names of children and details for buying the gifts. Mike
Malterre is in charge of the program. For more information, talk to Mike
or call him at 870-5271.
Eastwind
Business Directory
When you need something done around the house (repair, yard work etc)
or need your car repaired or have some other need would you like to call
someone in our church family who provides this kind of service? If you
have a business would you like to have it listed in an “Eastwind
Business Directory” that would be available to people who attend
Eastwind, so they could call you to provide a service for them? We think
the answer is YES, so we are putting together an “Eastwind Business
Directory”. If you have a business you would like to be listed in
the directory please see the table in the lobby and fill out an information
form. There will be no charge to list your business in the directory.

Need to get rid of some toys? The children's ministry is looking for gently used (soft) toys for our 2-4yr olds classes. Also, we are in need of some used t.v. stands, bins for toys, and a few VCR's or VCR-DVD combo. We greatly appreciate your donations as we start to update the classrooms for our little ones. MOMS IN TOUCH - Moms praying for our schools This is a group which prays specifically for Trailwinds Elementary. We meet at 9:00 am Mondays at Columbia Heights Baptist Church on Lake Forest Drive. If you are interested please contact Tonia Dean @ 343-8237.
LOOKING FOR WORK OR HAVE WORK AVAILABLE? If you are looking for work and are willing to do anything or if you have a job/task (small or large) you are willing be pay for, contact Mark Russell at 514-5524 or markrussell@eastwindcc.com. We’ve already been able to match up several people.
TEXTING MINISTRY has started Several months ago Mark gave a message and introduced the Eastwind Texting ministry. If you would like to participate you will receive a TXT message to your mobile phone 3 times a week with a Bible verse and a follow up question from the previous week’s message. We’ve been doing our research and we are now ready to launch this service. If you are interested please do the following:
- On your mobile phone send a txt message (not an email) which says “Eastwind Texting” to the following email address: texting@eastwindcc.com
- If you have other family members with mobile phones who would like to participate have them do the same thing using their own mobile phone.
- You can unsubscribe anytime by sending an email to texting@eastwindcc.com with the words “unsubscribe’ in the subject line.

ADOPT A PART OF EASTWIND There are many tasks that need to accomplish around our facility both inside and outside. Some need attention once a week, some once a month or less often. If you or your family would like to adopt a part of Eastwind sign up today on the clip board and you will be contacted with a list of adoption opportunities.
Online/Electronic
Giving New Program Recently we introduced an online giving option
and many of you have used this service to make donations to the ministry
of Eastwind. Thank you! We HAVE SWITCHED to a new company to provide this
service. For those of you who have been using our old system you will
have to create a new account. Sorry! We hope others will utilize this
option especially during the Summer to remain consistent in their giving
when they are out of town. For

If you are not comfortable with donating online you may pick up and complete an Authorization Form from Dick Green or from the information table in the church lobby. You still have the convenience of your contributions being debited automatically from your checking or savings account.
